Does this decision set a dangerous precedent - explain why or why not? How could this issue effect the upcoming presidential election?

  1. I don't think this decision is dangerous, but I think it is terrible and they should not have a right to do that because of her english. She may not be the best talker but still most likely deserves the right more than other people to be on that board.

  2. I believe that this decision was semi dangerous. While she obviously has ample intelligence, she was not able to communicate in an acceptable manner. I can understand why the judge chose to make this decision, but he or she doesn't realize that this case will most likely set a precedent for all other cases involving a politicians ability to speak our national language. While I feel that this will have an impact on future campaigns I do not believe that this will affect the current presidential election mainly due to all of the politicians proficiency in english.
