suffered by the Syrian people since the start of last year," Arab
League chief Nabil Elaraby told the Arab foreign ministers. "We must
move quickly in all directions ... to end or break the ongoing cycle
of violence in Syria."


The Arab League today asked the U.N. Security Council to have a
peacekeeping force in Syria. Syria’s state news said that the League's
decision was taken without a Syrian representative. So was this

First entry - what I'm learning from our students

just started a new project at my school. We have a very diverse group of kids here at RNE - I thought it would be fun as well as educational to talk to students that are new to the US. We started the project last week and have interviewed students from - Pakistan, Senegal and Uzbekistan (so far). What a cool experience - food, school, teenage life actually does exist outside the US!!!
