  1. 1. The men had the right to be executed, for the wronging they have done.
    2. The punishment does fit the crime due to the amount of those affected.
    3. Every person would probably think twice about committing a crime ever again.
    4. Human, international, and maybe gun rights were all violated.
    5. One thing that makes me angry is that the men committed the crime and killed the infant.
    6. I agree with the executions and the punishments that followed.
    7. I don't think the US government should be involved, because it might increase tensions.
    8. Human execution is when someone is killed via gunshot. I don't think this is much of a concept, since I have never heard of this happening anywhere else.

  2. 1. Its a little extreme but I do understand why it was so extreme.
    2. The torture was unnecessary because you can just kill them and it would be over with.
    3. Yes, because its very extreme and torture is something that no one wants to go through.
    4. Can't be tortured, trial, and innocent until proven guilty
    5. The torture because its to much to be tortured.
    6. That they should be prosecuted but no executed
7.No, because other countries need to do things on their own
    8. Define: The penalty of death for the commission of a crime.
Yes because they can d the injection penalty where they just fall asleep and die.

  3. 1.) Execution will be viewed as extreme, but in this case I could see why it may have been appropriate.
2.) The way they went about the crime was very harsh and ruthless, so they should have been punished.
3.) Yes, due to their extreme ways of handling things many people would probably rethink their wrongful actions.
4.) Human rights and innocent until proven guilty
5.) Their crime in itself is maddening, you would probably want them executed if it was your loved one.
6.) I agree and disagree with the executions, but they should have been prosecuted.
7.) No, we should not get involved with things that are not our business.
8.) Execution is when someone is killed for a committing a crime. Yes because there are other alternatives.

  4. 1. Read the entire article FIRST - What is your immediate impression of the events described in the article?
I felt as if the government was over reacting. Armed robbery is a bad thing to do but the death sentence does not fit the crime. But, things like this happen a lot in foreign countries like this. They are very extreme and hard with their sentencing. They have very old ways of thinking and are not easily influenced by outside opinions.
    2. Describe your feelings - Do you think the punishment fit the crimes? Why or why not?
I do not feel as if the punishment fit the crime. Especially since they were juveniles at the time of their arrest. They should have gotten a couple years and then some probation time.
    3. Your opinion - If the US had this type of punishment - do you think people would think twice about committing crimes like - armed robbery?
I absolutely think so. The U.S jail system is a lot more fair and is nothing like other countries. A lot of times people get off with community service or probation, so a lot of times they aren't afraid of going to jail or court.
    4. What were at least THREE rights (that Americans have) that were violated during the arrest and prosecution of these people?
The right to an attorney, human rights when it came to one of the suspect being tortured to confess and the right to a speedy trial
    5. What is it about this article that makes you angry? - EXPLAIN
That none of the men were able to receive an attorney while they were on trial. They were not able to argue their case what so ever.
    6. What is it about this article that you agree with? - EXPLAIN
I agree with Amnesty International when they said that the executions were complete brutality.
    7. Should the US government get involved in situations like this - why or why not?
I do not think so because we can't save everybody. Different countries have their own beliefs and we can't always force our opinions on them. I think that also causes war and animosity.
    8. Define - Humane executions - is there such a concept? Explain
This concept is that lethal injection is a better alternative when it comes to the death sentence. I don't believe this is humane at all. Murder is murder.

  5. 1. Read the entire article FIRST - What is your immediate impression of the events described in the article?
I was kind of shocked by the consequences. It is a little bit much for their crime.
    2. Describe your feelings - Do you think the punishment fit the crimes? Why or why not?
They shouldn't have tortured them. But I do agree with the death penalty because of the way they carried out their criminal acts.
    3. Your opinion - If the US had this type of punishment - do you think people would think twice about committing crimes like - armed robbery?
Of course. I think when the consequences are that severe people are more cautious.
    4. What were at least THREE rights (that Americans have) that were violated during the arrest and prosecution of these people?
Right to an attorney, innocent until proven guilty, and human rights.
    5. What is it about this article that makes you angry? - EXPLAIN
    Their crime was insane.
    6. What is it about this article that you agree with? - EXPLAIN
    They should have been prosecuted.
    7. Should the US government get involved in situations like this - why or why not?
NO. The US government needs to mind its own business and stop trying to save everyone. When we get nosey, it leads to even worse situations for America.
    8. Define - Humane executions - is there such a concept? Explain
Humane executions is death due to a criminal act. I don't think there is a "humane" way of killing someone, but if it is for good reasoning then it kind of makes the situation more understandable.

  6. 1. What is your immediate impression of the events described in the article? Crimes are everywhere; it was about the atrocity theory of interloper, armed robbery, and the rest of the malefactors.
    2. Do you think the punishment fit the crimes? Why or why not?
Sometimes the punishment does fit the crimes; but unfortunately, the higher the crime they penalize, the greater of an execution they will feel.
    3. If the US had this type of punishment - do you think people would think twice about committing crimes like - armed robbery?
I absolutely think for every person would committed too much of the major misconducts and they were bunch of guerrillas (fiends) in this society.
    4. What were at least THREE rights (that Americans have) that were violated during the arrest and prosecution of these people?
For the right to an attorney, innocent until it have an axe on their hand (proven guilty), and legal human rights.
    5. What is it about this article that makes you angry? - EXPLAIN
No, because I’m always straight person, but these punishments can give any wrongdoers the last laughs.
    6. What is it about this article that you agree with? - EXPLAIN
    7. Should the US government get involved in situations like this - why or why not?
I shouldn't let them get into people’s businesses, because it’s their own job to be independent.
    8. Define - Humane executions - is there such a concept? Explain
This is a type of calamitous penalty of trangressive violation.

  7. 1.) The 7 men did some really bad things and they deserved a lot of punishment but things like that will happen and you just have to know your surroundings and accept that fact
2.) Absolutely not. I believe that what they did was worth prison for many years or even life but execution, heck no. Thats like saying an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. If you kill my people I kill you. That is not how it works.
3.)Most definitely because it is a much more severe punishment but I still don't agree with it. People would not want to risk their lives for commiting a crime like that.
4.)right to an attorney, innocent until proven guilty and your own human rights.
5.) I am not angry at the article;I simply dont agree with their punishments
    6.) nothing, I completly disagree
7.) No because people should have the freedom to make their own choices. If they make bad choices then that is their own problem.
8.)When you kill someone because they have committed a crime.

    5) The convicted weren't even given a fair trial. The judge ignored their injuries. Their punishment was worse than their crimes.
    6) I don't agree with anything in the article. Well, I agree that crimes should be punished. However, I don't agree with how the trial and the punishment were executed.
    7) I don't think the US should get involved because I feel like the US has a lot of problems and should deal with those first before meddling in another country's business.

  9. 1. I think that the gov't reacted to harshly. As small as something like armed robbery is to other crimes like murdering a political figure it was unnecessary to kill them like that in front of alot of people. I think they should've received a maximum of 30-40 years in jail without being killed for what they did when they were young
    2. I don't think they should've tortured them and I think that everyone makes mistakes when they are young and that they should be able to live and learn from their mistakes
    3. Yes due to the severity of the punishment you would have to endure after committing the crime
    4. Right to an attorney, human rights laws, innocent until proven guilty
    5. The part that makes me angry is the fact that they were killed because they could've easily just went to jail or at least have a fair trial where the judge can actually hear their side of the story
    6. I agree that the crimes should have a punishment but they shouldn't have been that severe as what they were
    7. No because it could effect relations between the countries as far as trading and peace agreements
    8. Being killed over a crime that you have committed and yes because the have lethal injection, electric chair and in this case executing people via bullets/guns

I do not agree, the crimes shouldn't be over punished

    2. Describe your feelings - Do you think the punishment fit the crimes? Why or why not?
-I don't think that the crimes were worth their lives. It was very unjust and they should have found much more fit punishments rather than death, because in this day and age , death is a serious punishment.
    3. Your opinion - If the US had this type of punishment - do you think people would think twice about committing crimes like - armed robbery?
    - If the US created a lot harsher punishments like this not just for armed robbery but for many other crimes putting people at risk, I think that the country would be A lot safer or just a bunch of grave yards will be built. But after a few people are punished for the crimes it will have a ripple affect and crime rates will drop drastically.
    4. What were at least THREE rights (that Americans have) that were violated during the arrest and prosecution of these people?

people should defiantly receive punishment, but it needs to reflect the crime.

    7. Should the US government get involved in situations like this - why or why not?
