  1. It doesn't seem that the German People are really concerned by the way the school teacher said people would walk past the bad messages. It seems like probably the older generation would be the ones who would take a big concern with it. The reason being is because they had to live through the Nazi age and it wasn't pleasant and they would want to relive that era. I think that the U.S. wouldn't have a big role to play however when Mrs.Mensah-Schramm said that the Neo-Nazi's had bad things about her on that website and she couldn't do much because it was U.S. owned. That could play a role in the growth because n o one did anything to help removed the bad talk of her name.

  3. From what the article is saying it doesn't really seem like the German people are really concerned by what the teacher said concerning the german people walking past bad messages. The young people arent concerned because they haven't been through anything bad, but maybe the older generation might be concerned a little bit because of all the stuff they went through during the communist Nazi era. I think the U.S should play a pretty big role, and get involved so they can contain maybe another breakout forming the Nazis again.

  4. I think neo-nazism has been on the rise again because of the natural inclination people have to judge and belittle. The German generation does not seem quite as concerned because they haven't felt what it feels like to go through the nazi era. You would think they would stand against it, though. Maybe people have just gotten that lazy. The US role in this could be the fact that the US owns one of the Neo-Nazi websites that belittes Mrs.Mensah-Schramm, not allowing her to do anything about it.

  5. I think that people seem to think that nothing like that will happen again so they are not concerned. Though, neo-nazism happened once and it can happen again. At this point I think it should be a looked at topic and people should face some concern. The older gentleman has a point and he is older and has some feel of what it is like. The younger generation does not and they seem to not care about it. The fact that they are using US servers to do there stuff is beneficial to us and i think they should keep it like that unless more suspicion comes about.

  6. I think that it has been on the rise because people everywhere just like to fight, and judge things. The generation now really doesn't seem as concerned because they did not go through world war 2 and the whole nazi era like the people at that time did. Most of the people now just know the history, and weren't there to live out the things that actually happened. I think the US's role is just trying and helping to prevent another out break of the Nazi Party.

  7. Neo Nazism is an active movement but its not very big in size. I really don't think the German population is concerned about this Neo Nazi issue and honestly I wouldn't be concerned about it either. The fact that they are using US servers isn't wrong in my mind. Everyone has a right to their opinion as long as it isn't violent

  8. I think Neo-Nazism has always been there its just with the introduction of social media that its becoming more acknowledge. I don't think that the people are not, not concerned because it is only a very small group of people that have these extreme beliefs. I think the US's role is to actively advocate against hate groups but removing them should be in charge of individual national governments.

  9. The German people obviously didn't care. She said that people would walk pass the bad messages. People are entitled to their opinion, so i can't really say that belittling her name was wrong. They simply stated their opinions. Saying as though it was a US owned website doesn't make it wrong either. Whether you put the role of stopping hate groups on the US or not it wouldn't make a difference. Hate is everywhere and along the way some people want to stand up against it. - Marcus J

  10. I believe that Neo-Nazism has not suddenly had a large growth or anything, but that Nazism never left Germany. Media had just not been concerned about it until now. From reading the article, it would appear that the German people are just ignoring all of the graffiti and stickers, similar to how we do in the US. The US allows the hate to continue, by allowing things that would be banned in Germany, such as pro nazism websites.

  11. A huge rise in media for terrorism and anti-terrorist actions have been taken in the past few years. The Neo-Nazism in many ways is another form of terrorism. They have always been there but the Neo-Nazism is now being looked at and rising in the media. Germany has been dealing with the Neo-Nazi presence for a while so while this may be news to us, it is nothing new to them so they don't think it is a big deal. The U.S.'s policies and freedoms have lead to more of a rise in Neo-Nazism in Germany. Neo-Nazi groups take advantage of free speech the US has to offer and they know that by making things in the US, German officials can not touch them. More and more Neo-Nazis are discovering this so they are starting to try and spread Nazi propaganda wider. Eventually they will probably die out or get so big that the US does something to stop this in some way.

  12. I feel that Neo nazism is on the rise in due part to immigration. People are trying to find ways to expel foreigners. German people probably are unconcerned with this because they've seen similar trends rise up but never make any substantial strides towards gaining power. The hate groups have been using U.S. servers to spread their beliefs. The U.S. can't limit the servers due to freedom of speech therefore the post will continue.

  13. After 1945, the US created US Intelligence by recruiting tens of thousands of Nazi war criminals. The US absorbed in secret almost the entire Nazi war criminal organization (tens of thousands of Nazi war criminals, not "thousands"), and out of this formed the CIA, which then used its Nazi assets all over the world to destroy progressive movements and install right-wing repressive autocrats, and also to put Nazis back in power in various European countries under the cover that they were "Christian Democrats." So, these "enemies" aren't really enemies. In a way, we have prolonged the Nazism. Nazism just randomly popping up out of no where is foolish. The media has a fond way of distorting events happening in the world. Many people should do actual research about Nazism and how the U.S. encouraged Nazism after WW2.
